To all Club Umpires
This communication is relevant to any Club Umpires who want to refresh your knowledge, update your skills, prepare for L1 assessment, or simply improve your umpiring knowledge.

The inaugural Event run by Midlands Hockey will be at Nottingham Hockey Centre on Sunday July 23rd 11 am to 1.30 pm.

Club Umpire Training Event (CUTE) in brief what can I expect?

• No cost (apart from getting to the venue)
• a meet and greet to establish the groups learning requests
• a brief presentation
• 2 hours out on the pitch covering practical elements of the game e.g. positioning during play and set pieces, Aerial ball, Decision making and Control strategies.
• to be part of a group whose shared aim is to improve their umpiring
• To influence the future delivery in Midlands of club umpire development

The small team games will require the majority of attendees to bring playing kit as you will take it in turns to play and umpire small matches. If you are not a player or no longer playing, then you are still welcome to attend
