After a fantastic season, it’s time to get ready for the Gala Ball on Saturday 13th May at Aston Wood Golf Club. Tickets have now gone on sale via Pitchero and they remain at £35 per person. Once again, you have the choice to buy your ticket with an added charity donation. If you cannot attend the event, you can buy raffle tickets up to the day before (£5 a ticket, or a strip of 5 for £20).

This year, SCHC are proudly supporting Different Strokes as their chosen charity for the Gala Ball. Two active members of the club have suffered strokes this season and this charity has been instrumental in their recovery and supporting their families. Different Strokes is run by younger stroke survivors and promotes independent stroke recovery through peer support. The community helps stroke survivors reclaim their lives through first-hand knowledge of the issues and challenges families face after a stroke. We hope you are as proud of supporting this charity and our families as we are!

In order to make the raffle a success, we are looking for raffle prices again. As ever, our members are very charitable with their raffle donations, making the raffle a great success. One of the sought-after prizes is Big Greenie. If you are the lucky member who looked after Big Greenie this season, please make yourself known to Jo Carpay so we can find Big Greenie a new home!
