As the end of the season is fast approaching, we are looking forward to the Gala Ball! The event will be held on Saturday 10th May at Aston Wood Golf Club. Tickets will be on sale in the coming days on Pitchero and you will have the choice to buy your ticket on its own or combined with raffle tickets.

This year SCHC are proudly supporting Birmingham PHAB camps, a charity that provide action packed Holidays that embrace every ability.

‘Birmingham PHAB Camps runs amazing adventure weeks away throughout the UK for children from Birmingham, with the express purpose of integrating disabled and non-disabled children.

What makes our adventure weeks away so fun and special is that we make them inclusive of everyone. Birmingham is a large multicultural city, home to young people from all walks of life, faiths, ethnicities and abilities. Our mission is to integrate Birmingham's young people and create better understanding and friendships between them. What better way of doing that than going away on holiday together?’

We will of course be running our raffle at the Ball, which is always well supported and successful. We are really lucky to have such charitable members willing to donate prizes. The two sought-after prizes are Big Greenie and the free Ball tickets! If you are the lucky member who looked after Big Greenie this season, or you won the free tickets last year, please make yourself known to Jo Carpay so we can find Big Greenie a new home and allocate your ticket!
